As Chief Security Officer at Bitsimple.ca, David Neale leads the company’s cybersecurity, infrastructure security, and digital asset protection strategies. With a deep background in cryptography, cloud architecture, and distributed systems, David ensures BitSimple’s infrastructure remains secure, compliant, and resilient against emerging threats.
David oversees all aspects of security — from infrastructure and data protection to incident response, access control, and continuous monitoring. He works closely with the engineering, compliance, and legal teams to maintain end-to-end security across BitSimple’s Bitcoin custody and transactional systems.
Before joining BitSimple, David helped architect and secure large-scale financial platforms and contributed to open-source cryptographic frameworks. His approach emphasizes transparency, proactive defense, and engineering for trust.
