About Us
We believe mobile experiences matter. As our Mobile Design Lead, you’ll lead the mobile design team (iOS & Android), define the vision for mobile product experiences, collaborate deeply with product, engineering and research, and ensure our mobile apps are intuitive, beautiful and performant.
What you’ll do
Lead the design of our mobile products (iOS and Android), from concept through to launch, working across user flows, interaction design, UI visual design, motion/animation.
Define and evolve the mobile design system: reusable components, patterns, motion, metrics, and documentation.
Mentor and grow a team (or lead individual designers), nurturing talent, reviewing work, facilitating feedback and championing design excellence.
Partner closely with product, engineering, and user-research to translate insights into mobile experiences that delight users and align with business goals.
Set mobile design strategy: define how mobile fits into our product ecosystem, stay ahead of platform design trends (iOS / Android / cross-platform), and ensure accessibility and performance best practices.
Own mobile design metrics: conversion, engagement, retention, performance, usability; iterate based on data and insights.
What we’re looking for
7+ years experience in product/mobile design (or equivalent), with a proven track-record of shipping mobile apps.
Deep expertise in mobile user experience, interface design, platform guidelines (Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Google Material Guidelines), cross-platform design considerations.
Strong portfolio demonstrating mobile work with end-to-end experience (user flows, interactions, visual design, motion, prototypes).
Leadership, mentorship and communication skills: you’ll lead and influence designers, stakeholders and engineers.
Strategic mindset: you can translate business/product goals into design strategy, and design decisions into measurable outcomes.
Collaboration skills: you’re comfortable working in fast-moving teams with product, engineering and research.
Nice to have
Experience in fintech / financial products (mobile).
Experience designing for mobile performance, constrained networks, internationalization / localization, accessibility.
Experience building or evolving a mobile design system or component library.
Experience working with design tools like Figma, Sketch, Principle, After Effects, and handoff workflows with engineering.
